The hotel was really attentive and friendly, but lacked adequate space in the rooms for a multi-night stay. Despite the quirky charm, the lack of air conditioning and ventilation was a letdown.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were really attentive and friendly, but lacked adequate space for two people for a multi-night stay. Living partly out of suitcases was unexpected for a four-star hotel.
Service
8.0
The service was super friendly and attentive, except for the late-night arrival when staff were not available. It was a professional and courteous experience overall.
Location
8.0
The location is smack bang in the middle of Llandeilo with access to amenities, but the small size compared to the dining areas was a downside. The picturesque town in the heart of Welsh countryside adds charm.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was very good and plentiful, although the limitations for vegetarians were disappointing. Fresh sandwiches were a highlight.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were quaint, with historical quirks like creaky stairs and floorboards, maintaining a unique character.

Upon arrival, the room was a bit cold but quickly resolved. However, the storage space was insufficient for two people staying four nights, leading us to partially live out of our suitcases. Despite feeling hot and stuffy initially, the room was comfortable and clean with a spacious bathroom. The hotel's service was notable for its friendliness and the delicious chicken risotto and lemon posset. The location in a picturesque Welsh countryside town was convenient and cozy. Dining offered excellent, well-cooked meals with a good variety and value for money. The hotel facilities were well-kept and satisfying overall.

The location was convenient with some drawbacks related to dining. The dining experience offered tasty food but lacked vegetarian options. The hotel's facilities were sufficient despite some limitations.
